We are a busy electrical contracting business and supplier of water pumps, pipes, fittings, and related products. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Trade Counter & Warehouse Operative to join our team. Key Responsibilities Serving customers at the trade counter and providing expert product advice. Processing sales orders, quotations, and customer enquiries. Assisting plumbers, farmers, and trade customers with product selection. Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries. Loading and unloading goods using a forklift. Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders. Maintaining stock accuracy and carrying out regular stock takes. General office administration, including order processing and data entry. Keeping the warehouse, yard, and trade counter clean, organised, and safe. Supporting the sales and contracting teams as required. Requirements Experience in a trade counter, warehouse, builders' merchants, electrical, plumbing, or agricultural supply environment would be an advantage but not necessary. Knowledge of water pumps, pipes, fittings, electrical products, or related equipment is desirable but not necessary Forklift licence preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate). Good customer service and communication skills. Basic computer skills and ability to process orders accurately. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
