We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to oversee purchasing activities across our fruit and vegetable wholesale business. The role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, coordinating stock and deliveries, and ensuring cost effective and compliant procurement. Responsibilities include managing produce purchasing, coordinating inbound deliveries, monitoring market trends, maintaining traceability records, and supporting management with reporting and cost analysis. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in procurement or supply chain, with strong supplier management and negotiation skills. Experience in food or perishable goods is considered an advantage. A qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics or a related field is desirable but not essential. The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills. Salary: €36,605 per annum (€18.05 per hour) Hours: 39 hours per week
