The successful candidate will be involved in the installation, assembly, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, wiring systems and electrical components at company and client premises. **Key Responsibilities:** * Examine drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams to determine work requirements and installation procedures. * Select, cut, route and connect electrical wiring, cables, sockets, plugs and terminals. * Install and secure electrical conduit, cable containment systems and associated components. * Assemble electrical parts and sub-assemblies using appropriate hand and power tools. * Install electrical equipment, fixtures and control components in accordance with specifications. * Carry out testing, inspection and fault-finding on electrical systems and equipment. * Replace defective wiring, electrical components and worn parts as required. * Perform maintenance and repair work on electrical installations and equipment. * Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures and technical requirements. * Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in good condition. * Work may be carried out both at the company’s premises and at client sites, depending on operational requirements. **Requirements:** * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams. * Experience using electrical testing equipment and installation tools. * Good attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Commitment to safe working practices.
