The main duties and responsibilities of Quality Manager the are outlined as follows:
Implement the Quality Strategy in accordance with the requirements of the Glanua QMS
Quality, Document Control & Assurance Promote ‘Perfect Delivery’ approach and ‘snag free’ through the objective of ‘right first time’ and by facilitating inspection through engagement as per the project Inspection Strategy. Provide assurance to the client that all processes & procedures are being adhered to by utilising & implementing the audit and surveillance processes. Ensure that lifetime records demonstrate compliance with specified requirements, and that they are produced in a timely manner for all permanent works activities, in accordance with the requirements of the collaborative management plan: Quality, Document Control & Assurance
Ensure the production of the Quality Management Plan (where applicable) for assigned projects as required
Monitor and report on compliance with the Quality Management Plan and escalate to the project managers attention any issues identified
Facilitate the development of the appropriate client related ‘quality deliverables’
Review and assist in the development of Quality Management Plans and Inspection & Test Plan’s
Ensure site team complete relevant Inspection and Test Records for all activities on site
Ensure site team have all arrangements in place for testing of materials, equipment, products etc. to ensure quality specifications are met.
Review, participate and assist in the development of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) when and where required
Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.
Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements – Lessons Learned
Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes.
Develop reports/statistics from data on Common Data Environment
The main knowledge, skills and experience required of the Quality Manager are outlined as follows:
Degree or HND in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
Experience in D&B or pharmaceutical project delivery across Utility Construction Industry
5+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
