As part of our expansion, we are currently looking for a suitably motivated - CNC Machine Operator - Evening Shift - to join our group. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC machine Operator to support our manufacturing operations. This role involves operating and monitoring high-precision equipment, performing basic machine setup, and ensuring quality control for components used in complex automation systems. The CNC machine Operator will work closely with our engineering and skilled machinist teams. What you'll do Operate and monitor CNC milling machines (up to 5-axis) during production runs, following established operating procedures. Perform general upkeep, cleaning, and basic preventative maintenance on machinery. Load and unload parts and fixtures. Take precise measurements of manufactured parts using standard metrology tools to ensure they meet quality standards. Review and follow simple work instructions and process sheets. Monitor production and adjust machine offsets as instructed by the Machinist or Supervisor. Ensure the workstation is kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards. Report any equipment malfunctions, tooling issues, or quality deviations to the shift machinist or engineering team. Who you are Proven experience in operating CNC machine tools or similar precision manufacturing equipment. Previous industry experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. Proven of experience in a production setting, preferably in a regulated industry such as medical devices, automotive, aerospace, or electronics. A keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety. Technical Skills: Working knowledge of safety protocols relating to machining equipment and workshop environments. Good coordination and mechanical aptitude. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety in all production activities. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with digital workflows.
