Job Description: The Tram Cafe are seeking a full time Chef de Partie to join our team. Employer: The Tram Cafe Location: 131E Slaney Road, Dublin Industrial Estate, Glasnevin, Dublin 11 Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 39 hours per week Salary: €36,605 per year Description of Employment- Cooking meals for clients – making sure food is cooked safety and portion control / waste is being monitored. Following recipes which are provided by the kitchen manager for the meal each day. It is important to not change these recipes as allergens/costing are done for current recipes. Assistant the manager with new recipe ideas for the menus. Assist with handling and putting deliveries away. Completing the necessary HACCP records correctly every day. Making sure equipment is clean and put in correct location when not being used. Working well with others on the team and helping each other to get all tasks completed. Adhering to health & food safety guidelines. Presenting yourself in a clean and presentable manner. Guiding and training the kitchen assistants /kitchen porters, when doing food prep to improve their skills. Any other tasks as reasonably requested by the Kitchen Manager. Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie. Strong knowledge of food preparation and HACCP. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills.
