Louis Fitzgerald Hotel & Joel’s Restaurant Complex is currently recruiting for an experienced Chef to join our busy kitchen team.
The successful candidate will support the preparation, cooking and presentation of high-quality food across our hotel and restaurant operation, ensuring excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and consistency at all times.
Duties will include:
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to agreed standards.
Supporting service across a busy hotel and restaurant kitchen.
Maintaining HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards.
Assisting with stock rotation, labelling and waste control.
Working as part of the kitchen team to deliver efficient service.
Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, organised and compliant.
Supporting senior chefs with daily prep, service and kitchen operations.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Chef in a hotel, restaurant or similar professional kitchen environment.
Good knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
Relevant chef training or qualifications are desirable.
